Crystal Healing – Day Stones

Day Stones: Crystals to correspond with each weekday.
Crystals or Gemstones, depending on your preferred terminology have long been renowned for their individual energies or vibrations and recognized for their associations or correspondences and healing powers. Certain crystals have been associated with our births (Birthstones), others with astrological influence and yet others to recognise anniversaries and so on.
There are also crystals that correspond with the days of the week and these may be used to help add more value into our day. Carrying or keeping one of these stones close by on their designated day can give you an energetic lift and help to make the day so much more enjoyable.
The name of the day provides valuable information for selecting a crystal that carries the most appropriate vibration. The days of the week were named for the Sun, the Moon, and the planets known to the ancient world, or more particularly for the Roman or Norse Gods associated with those planets.
According to the chosen source, there are several variations for the selection. The most common and consistent crystals have been chosen. The associated metal and colours also play an important role in the choice of stone.
As always if you feel drawn to a different crystal on a chosen day, stay with your intuition as that particular stone will surely have the most value for you on the given day.
